Description: Super Chicken was an animated segment that ran on the animated television series George of the Jungle. Super Chicken is the alter-ego of wealthy Henry Cabot Henhouse III. His sidekick is Fred, a vegetarian lion. In his civilian life, Fred serves as Henhouse’s butler. When trouble arises, Henhouse drinks his "Super Sauce" often from a martini glass prepared by Fred. He then transforms into the superhero Super Chicken, donning a plumed cavalier's hat, cape, Wellington boots, mask, and sword.
Description: This universally known "S" symbol has been around cor decades but no one knows where it came from. Most popular for school kids to draw and found in graffiti all over the world. It doesn't rally have a official name but it is known by the Universal S, Cool S, Pointy S, Super S, Graffiti S, School S, and Stussy S.
Description: When you find yourself in danger, When you’re threatened by a stranger, When it looks like you will take a lickin’, (buk, buk, buk) There is someone waiting, Who will hurry up and rescue you, Just Call for Super Chicken! (buk, ack!) Here’s another forgotten cartoon from the 60’s. In the same mould as Maxwell Smart, Super Chicken’s success was more luck than talent, but his heart was in the right place.
Description: I wanted to draw a scene from Metroid: Zero Mission, but my favorite version of the zero suit is the one from Samus Returns...Creative liberties must be taken! I tried to challenge myself to use a "low value" range on this piece and the end result is a bit more color than usual. :)
Description: Super Furry Animals are a Welsh rock band formed in Cardiff in 1993. For the duration of their professional career, the band consisted of Gruff Rhys, Huw Bunford, Guto Pryce, Cian Ciaran, Dafydd Ieuan. An earlier incarnation of the band featured actor Rhys Ifans on lead vocals.
