Surf Socks
Description: I've been trying to play with retro styles lately, and this was based off an old 1970's t-shirt that I found. I tried to imagine how this pattern would feel on an old shirt, so the tri-blend t-shirts with their heathered styles are probably the best fit. I also did a distressed version of this for a wash and wear feel.
Description: This illustration is based on the tattoo style. I made a compass or windrose using the sport of surfing as inspiration. It's for this reason that the design is formed by waves and sunshine. It's an abstract beach. It's made using a traditional technique of hand drawing and ink.
