Description: The 7th ADA was organized during the Spanish-American War and has the distinction of being the first U.S. Coast Artillery Corps unit in WWI to open fire... on the Western Front. Using railway guns. This was, in fact, the CAC's biggest contribution to the war effort, providing heavy artillery support to doughboys. Campaign credits include WWII, Korea and Vietnam. It has been equipped most recently with the HAWK and Patriot missile units and saw service in Desert Storm and (I believe) Southern Watch. This unit crest comes in left and right versions.

When reactivated in the 1920s its batteries were part of the antiaircraft defenses of the Panama Canal Zone, and during WWII units served in both Italy and in the Pacific.
