The Rush Socks

This design combines bold, vintage-style typography with a red star emblem and silhouetted figure, surrounded by the famous phrase, 'Catch the mist, catch the myth, catch the mystery, catch the drift.' Ideal for posters, wall art, or T-shirt prints, this design makes a statement just as bold as the music that inspired it
Description: Video Invasion was located at 3500 Bathurst Street in North York, roughly between Wilson and Lawrence. It was operating by the early 1980s and became one of Toronto's prominent arcades. Contemporary sources describe it as a particularly clean, bright arcade with a large selection of games. The owner was Wayne Fromm, and the arcade became much more than simply a place to play video games. Fromm was deeply involved in the Canadian coin-operated amusement business. A 1988 trade publication identifies him as president of Video Invasion Arcades of Canada. Rush filmed part of the 1982/83 music video for “Subdivisions” inside Video Invasion. The arcade footage wasn't a movie set—it was the actual arcade at 3500 Bathurst.
