Description: Although the Monaro name had survived into 1977 as the HX Monaro GTS sedan, the coupé configuration was no longer in production and Holden decided to delete the Monaro name altogether from the new Holden HZ range. With the development of Radial Tuned Suspension, Holden transformed the bland characteristics of their full-size sedans and introduced a sporting variant called simply Holden GTS. Released on 5 October 1977, this HZ variant featured a four headlight grille, front and rear air dams, four-wheel disc brakes, sports wheels and a 4.2-litre V8 engine as standard equipment. Description: The Holden Sandman was a popular, customizable panel van and utility option package offered by Holden in Australia from 1974 to 1980. It gained popularity among young people, especially for its bright paint jobs, custom interiors, and V8 engine options. The Sandman was essentially a sporty version of the standard panel van, incorporating elements from the Monaro GTS, like bucket seats, a sports steering wheel, and rally wheels.
Description: The HT model replaced the popular HK Holden, carrying over the same body variants. Engine choices had some changes - six cylinder engines remained the same, but in the V8 option list was Holden's new 'home-grown' 308 cubic inch (5.0 litre) engine (and a smaller sister engine, 253 cubic inches (4.2 litre). The Chevrolet-sourced 307 cubic inch V8 was still offered, as well as 350 cubic inch (5.7 litre) engine replacing the 327 cubic inch V8. Some body modifications were changes to the rear quarter panels and rear window, as well as front grille and rear tail light changes. Manual transmissions gained synchromesh on first gear for six-cylinder Holdens.

Description: Statesman is an automotive marque created in 1971 by the Australian General Motors subsidiary, Holden. Statesman vehicles were sold through Holden dealerships, and were initially based on the mainstream Holden HQ station wagon platform, thereby providing more interior room and generally more luxurious features than their Holden-branded sedan siblings.
