The word Berserker translates to "bear-shirts" and "champion". According to legends, berserkers were warrior-shamans that had bears as their totem animal. They wore bear-pelts and fought with inhuman ferocity and strength.

In this series of four musical epics, which take inspiration from Norse mythology, characters like Odin, Thor, and Loki, which should be all too familiar to Marvel fans, are referred to by their German names; Wotan, Donner, and Loge, respectively. The latter being the basis for this Teepublic design, which should hopefully delight fans of classical opera.
