Description: The '80s remain unparallelled when it comes to ridiculous comedies, and 1986's One Crazy Summer is a shining example of the genre. This zany American romantic comedy film focuses on art school hopeful Hoops McCann as he struggles to complete his college application. Resigning himself to a summer of boredom, McCann agrees to go along with his best friend, George Calamari, on a family trip to Nantucket, Massachusetts. After McCann and Calamari cross paths with a rocker chick being pursued by bikers, it suddenly looks like it's going to be one crazy summer.

Description: Movie Gallery opened as a small specialty video store in 1985 in Dothan, Alabama. The next five years saw them grow to about 50 stores, but tn the '90s, an aggressive expansion strategy saw the chain become one of the biggest video rental operations in the U.S., with over 950 locations. In the early 2000s, Movie Gallery was the second-largest rental chain in the U.S. and Canada, with over 4,700 stores worldwide. Despite the company's meteoric rise, by the end of the decade, digital downloads and streaming had taken their toll on video rental stores, and Movie Gallery was not immune. In April 2010, the company was headed into bankruptcy, and began liquidating all of its stores... the last Movie Gallery locations were closed in August 2010.
Description: Wizard Video was a VHS video distribution company that was well-known for its detailed (and often lurid) box art, especially during the time that it sold videocassettes in larger than standard boxes. Los Angeles-based Wizard was a subsidiary of Empire International Pictures, a small film studio. Wizard's videocassettes were originally duplicated by L.A. based Sound/Video Unlimited. Between 1982 and 1987, Wizard released 96 movies on VHS, almost all of which are horror flicks and sex comedies.
Description: The BBFC respects the right of adults to chose their own entertainment, within the law. It will therefore expect to intervene only rarely in relation to '18' rated cinema films. In the case of videos, which are more accessible to younger viewers, intervention may be more frequent. The classic design, painstakingly recreated and remastered.
