Description: Somewhere beneath the ice, something learned how to become us. Specimen 82-A reimagines The Thing as a classified Antarctic field-identification report, filled with host analysis, cellular diagrams, blood samples, containment protocols, and one very important question: which specimen is still human? Built for fans of John Carpenter's 1982 sci-fi horror classic, this artwork hides references to paranoia, biological mimicry, Outpost 31, the infected dog, blood testing, and the terrifying idea that the person standing beside you may no longer be human. A vintage scientific-document aesthetic meets Antarctic survival horror, with distressed print texture and old-school research typography.
Description: Phish is an American rock band formed in Burlington, Vermont, in 1983. The band consists of guitarist Trey Anastasio, bassist Mike Gordon, drummer Jon Fishman, and keyboardist Page McConnell. All four members perform vocals, with Anastasio being the primary lead vocalist. The band is known for their musical improvisation and jams during their concert performances and for their devoted fan following. The band was formed by Anastasio, Gordon, Fishman and guitarist Jeff Holdsworth, who were joined by McConnell in 1985. Holdsworth left the band in 1986, and the lineup has remained stable since. Most of the band's songs are co-written by Anastasio and lyricist Tom Marshall.
Description: KICKS, SNARES, HI-HATS is a tribute to the golden era of sample-based beat production, inspired by the iconic floppy disk workflow of classic samplers like the Akai S950. Built for beatmakers, producers, and crate diggers raised on gritty drums and raw boom bap textures, this design captures the spirit of underground hip-hop production culture — where every floppy disk held drums, chops, and creative magic. Perfect for fans of vintage samplers, MPC workflow, and classic 90s production aesthetics.
Description: De La Soul. 1989. "The Magic Number" opens 3 Feet High and Rising, the record that cracked hip hop wide open. The hook is a sample of a sample: lifted from Double Dee & Steinski's Lesson 3 (History of Hip Hop Mix), 1985 — a record that taught hip hop how to sample. Steinski took it from a fake ad line in Robert Downey Sr.'s 1969 satire Putney Swope. Two landmark records, built on someone else's joke. Set in Lettro, rebuilt by hand — flourishes and swashes reworked until the base font barely shows. Dark green fill, white inline, two rings of green. Every My Type of Lyrics shirt carries a Spotify code. Scan it and the original plays. Instant. If you were there — you already know. If you weren't — scan the code first, then order the shirt.
