En mi pais se invoca a Santa Bárbara cada vez que hay tormenta pero leyendo sobre ella no se supone que sea patrona "del clima" sin embargo se le considera patrona de los mineros, los artilleros y armeros del ejercito. Santa Bárbara era muy joven cuando fue martirizada por su propio padre a quien lo partió un rayo (merecidamente) y siempre se le representa cerca de rayo. Usualmente se le muestra vestida de rojo y azul pero yo he preferido colores más suaves.
