Description: Haddon Salt, born October 18, 1928, in Stanfree, Derbyshire, England, emigrated with his wife and three children to California in 1964 with US$10,000. Salt opened "Salt's English Fish & Chips Shop" in Sausalito in 1965. By 1967, Salt had opened three more stores, and his restaurants were now called "H. Salt, Esq. Authentic English Fish and Chips Shoppe." Salt sold his restaurants to a national fast food chain wanting to take the formula nationwide in 1969. The new owner was not successful in the large-scale expansion of the H. Salt Esq. chain, and cut its ties with the business by 1987. Franchisees were allowed to purchase their restaurant, a move that resulted in a few independently owned locations that are still up and running today.

Description: An all-new version of one of my most popular designs, this is a celebration of the incredibly iconic vehicles of 80's pop culture and features some of my favorites from a wide swathe of movies and television shows. While I couldn't include everything of course, hopefully this still captures the awesomeness of the era. Then its eventual downfall. Then how it has been broken down, parted out, recycled and presented to us again as something new that often barely resembles the initial version. So cheers to the originals, may their memory never fade! (How many can *you* name?)

Description: CHiPs was a crime drama television series that ran from September 15, 1977, to May 1, 1983. It follows the lives of two motorcycle officers of the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The series ran for 139 episodes over six seasons, plus one reunion television film in October 1998. Episodes utilized a standard hour-long time slot, which at the time required 48 minutes of actual programming. Over-the-top freeway pileups and vehicular stunts including jumping from moving motorcycles to runaway cars were signatures of the show. As real-life CHP motor officers rarely ride in pairs, in early episodes this was explained away by placing the trouble-prone Ponch on probationary status, with Jon assigned as his field training officer.
Description: Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips was a fast-food seafood restaurant chain. At the peak of its popularity in the late 1970s, it had about 800 stores. As of 2020, there are believed to be only a handful of rogue locations remaining. The chain is the namesake of Arthur Treacher (1894–1975), an English character actor typecast as "the perfect butler" for his performances as Jeeves, as a butler in several classic Hollywood films. At the time the chain was founded, Treacher was best known as the announcer and sidekick on the popular The Merv Griffin Show. Whether Treacher actually had a financial involvement in the restaurants is unknown (in interviews he refused to say), but he served as a spokesman for the restaurant chain in its early years,
