Baptism Tapestries
Description: Baptism is not required for salvation, but is a testimony of the believer's faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ for our salvation. So, just as Jesus willingly chose to identify with us in his death, burial and resurrection, now he calls upon us to identify with him in the symbolism of baptism. We choose therefore to be baptized as an act of obedience, because Jesus, who died for us and rose again, commanded us to do it.

Description: Nobody warns you. That's the tradition. There is a moment, somewhere in your first week on a dairy farm, that cannot be described in advance, only survived — and once you've survived it, you are officially one of the people who know. "Official Farmhand Initiation — Baptism By Bovine" is the ceremony, the credential, and the certificate of completion for everyone who came out the other side of their first milking shift wearing proof of the experience.
