Complex Tapestries
Description: A detailed, intricate fractal pattern resembling snowflakes is spread across a black background. The pattern is composed of numerous smaller, branching structures that repeat at different scales, creating a complex and symmetrical appearance. The visual element is entirely monochromatic, rendered in shades of grey.
Description: A complex molecular structure with six distinct sections arranged in a circular, star-like pattern. Each section is rendered in a different vibrant color: purple, cyan, and green. The structure features intricate twists and turns of ribbon-like strands against a stark black background, conveying a sense of depth and scientific representation.
Description: A diagram illustrating Euler's formula (e^iφ = cos φ + i sin φ) on a complex plane with a unit circle. It shows the real (Re) and imaginary (Im) axes, a point P on the circle, and the angle φ, with labels '0', 'cos φ', and 'sin φ'. Below the diagram is Euler's identity: e^(iπ) + 1 = 0.
Description: A black background with numerous white mathematical formulas and geometric shapes. Prominently features the text "WHAT PART OF" at the top and "DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND" at the bottom. Includes formulas for Pythagorean theorem, trigonometry, volume, area, calculus, and coordinate geometry.
Description: A striking graphic centered around a complex machine operated by two men. One man holds a large key, while another wears an apron and holds a bottle. A third man hangs upside down beneath the machine, his face contorted. The text 'QUICKSAND' is prominently displayed above in bold white lettering against a black background.
Description: A detailed line drawing depicts the Arecibo Observatory. A large, domed structure sits within a circular trench. Above it, a complex structure with a large dish and a central tower is suspended. The text 'ARECIBO' is at the top, and 'NATIONAL ASTROONOMY AND IONOSPHERE CENTER' is at the bottom. The style is monochrome with yellow accents.
Description: A detailed, monochrome depiction of a mechanical heart. The outer structure resembles a human heart with tubes and veins, while the interior reveals intricate gears and mechanical components. A thin red line traces a crevice on the left side. The style is realistically rendered with heavy linework and shading.
Description: A wide, detailed panorama of an industrial factory complex under a hazy sunset. The scene features numerous interconnected buildings, smokestacks emitting grey plumes, large storage tanks, and power lines. The color palette consists of brown, teal, and grey against an orange and black sky.
Description: A black background with white mathematical equations arranged in a circular pattern resembling a clock face. White clock hands are positioned at the center. Equations include "x² + y² = z²", "lim (1/x)", "∫ e^x dx", "f(x) = mx + c", "d/dx sin(x)", "e^(iπ) + 1 = 0", "log10(100)", "2³ - 1", "√(16+2)", "(3+2)²", "√144", "Σ n/n!", and "π ≈ 3.14159".

Description: A monochrome graphic displaying a mathematical equation. The equation reads 'i i/dt - \Phi = - [waveform with a hat] \epsilon'. The symbols are stylized with a clean, white outline on a black background, including a waveform with a fedora-like hat placed above it and the Greek letter epsilon at the end.
Description: An abstract composition featuring a complex network of interconnected geometric shapes including squares, circles, and triangles in various vibrant colors. White lines connect these shapes, creating a sense of flow and connection against a black background. Some elements are solid, while others have internal shapes.
Description: These Are Difficult Times! A bold music theory humor design featuring a metronome and challenging 13/8 and 5/4 time signatures. Perfect for musicians, composers, band geeks, music teachers, and students who understand odd meters, complex rhythms, and the struggle of keeping time.
Description: This artwork reflects the progressive force and experimental edge of Periphery’s Hail Stan. The geometric triangular design, layered with sharp linear patterns, evokes precision, complexity, and symmetry—mirroring the band’s intricate musicianship. The cryptic symbols within the structure suggest hidden meaning, transformation, and power, amplifying the aura of mysticism and rebellion that surrounds the album. Its stark monochrome palette emphasizes contrast and depth, striking a balance between chaos and control, aggression and elegance. This design perfectly encapsulates Periphery’s identity as pioneers of modern progressive metal, where technical mastery meets unrestrained creativity.
Description: This artwork presents a powerful dual portrait, split and cracked as though carved from fragile stone. The merging faces, drawn with bold crosshatching, embody contrast and unity—echoing the band’s themes of vulnerability, inner conflict, and human complexity. The fractured lines suggest both breaking and healing, a tension between destruction and resilience. The monochrome style amplifies the raw intensity, stripping away distraction to focus on emotion and imperfection. It captures Nothing But Thieves’ essence: an exploration of fragility, strength, and the beauty found within fractured identities.
