Description: The Giant Gila Monster is a 1959 science fiction horror film directed by Ray Kellogg and produced by Ken Curtis. This low-budget B-movie starred Don Sullivan, a veteran of several low budget monster and zombie films, and Lisa Simone, as well as comedic actor Shug Fisher and KLIF disc jockey Ken Knox. The effects included a live Mexican beaded lizard (not an actual Gila monster) filmed on a scaled-down model landscape. The story centers around a giant lizard that terrorizes a rural Texas community, as a heroic teenager attempts to destroy the creature using his prized hot rod.
Description: Kuat Drive Yards, or KDY, was the largest military shipbuilding corporation in the galaxy at the time of the Galactic Civil War, based on Kuat. Kuat Drive Yards mainly sold its products to the Galactic Empire, and the Galactic Republic previously. KDY products included armored fighting vehicles such as AT-STs and AT-ATs, Star Destroyers, and other military vehicles. This vintage version of the KDY t is nicely distressed and includes plenty of wear and tear to make it look like you picked it up a long, long time ago.

Description: Old school flat-bottom speed boats have never gone out of style and if anything, have experienced somewhat of a resurgence in recent years. Sleek hulls sitting just above the water, flashy paint schemes, and of course, a hulking V-8 engine sitting nice and high out back in front of the V-Drive setup. Thankfully, a lot of the old-school guys who built and maintained these fun boats are still around, and Laka Havasu City's Hot Water Marine Speed is one of them. So whether you're a local looking for a shop to work on your boat or from out of town and planning to hit the waters of Lake Havasu, be sure to book some time with Hot Water to get your V-Drive tuned up and performing it's best.
