Description: An Indonesian sarong woven in Ikat technique and dyed in indigo. Ikat is a resist dyeing technique by means of binding either the warp or the weft fibres prior to dyeing - or both, in which case it is called 'double ikat'. The patterns achieved with this technique are characteristically 'out of focus'. Ikat weaving is widespread in West Africa, South America and South East Asia.
Description: Stars In A Sea of Black to Dark Blue Gradation by Neil Feigeles The Art was created July 2020 and is an adaptation of the digital photograph ‘Orange and Silver White Stars on Red’ which is also available here on TeePublic. Which was originally shot on my iPhone,. The original photo kept calling out to me. So I decided to adapt it into graphic image. This design was created entirely in photoshop. All the stars were drawn by hand, and were drawn in multiple sizes. Each a different shade of gray, white and black, and the background for this variation is a beautiful Gradation of Black to Dark Blue.
