Maths Tapestries
Description: A design inspired by the beauty and symmetry of Rose Curves. In mathematics, a rose or rhodonea curve is a sinusoid plotted in polar coordinates. This design features a grid of curves representative of the number of points (n) from left to right by row from 1 - 9, similarly the number of degrees (d) from top to bottom by column from 1 - 9. The curves were created with polygon density plots and specially generated data in R. The colours were created with the Viridis, Plasma and Inferno colour palettes in perpetual shades of blue green yellow, blue red yellow and black red yellow respectively.

Description: Three cartoon cats are shown sleeping contentedly inside labelled cardboard boxes arranged in an L-shaped configuration against a black background. A brown tabby occupies Box 1, a black and white tuxedo cat fills the Cat Box, and an orange tabby rests in Box 3. Blue dashed measurement arrows indicate the dimensions of each box, while the colourful word "Purr-imeter" at the top cleverly ties the playful feline scene to the mathematical concept of perimeter.
Description: Three cartoon cats are depicted inside open cardboard boxes arranged in an L-shaped layout, each surrounded by dashed white measurement lines and numerical dimensions. An orange tabby lounges in the top left box, a sleek black cat stretches across the top right, and a white calico cat curls up contentedly in the bottom left. Bold red three-dimensional lettering spelling "PURR-IMIETER" dominates the top, combining humour with a visual reference to the mathematics concept of perimeter.
Description: Three adorable cartoon cats sit curled up inside separate cardboard boxes, viewed from above against a black background. From left to right, an orange tabby, a grey tabby, and a black and white tuxedo cat all gaze upward with large expressive yellow-green eyes. The word "Purr-imeter" is displayed above in orange and grey lettering, accompanied by two small pink paw prints, creating a charming mathematical pun on the word perimeter.
