Description: Jim Morrison or James Douglas Morrison was an American singer, musician, songwriter and poet, who was the lead vocalist of the rock band the Doors. He died unexpectedly in Paris at the age of 27, amid conflicting witness reports. No autopsy was performed. On December 9, 1967, police arrested Morrison as he performed at the New Haven Arena making him the first rock star ever taken into custody during the middle of a performance.
