Pretti Tapestries
Description: Alex Pretti: A Portrait of American Failure A portrait of Alex Pretti anchors this powerful visual indictment of ICE brutality and failed leadership. With a solemn gaze and clipped ID badge, Pretti’s image is paired with Alex’s stark quote: “Freedom is not free…”—a chilling reminder as America reels from another fatal ICE encounter. The minimalist white backdrop amplifies the gravity of the message, transforming this image into a memorial and a call to action. It captures the cost of freedom, the weight of sacrifice, and the urgent need to confront systemic violence perpetuated by corrupt enforcement under Trump’s directives.

Description: Alex Pretti: The Murder ICE Doesn’t Want You to See In this haunting illustration, Alex Pretti—an ICU nurse turned national symbol of resistance—cradles the lifeless embodiment of liberty, wrapped in the American flag. His solemn gaze and protective stance evoke the raw grief of a nation betrayed. His quote above him—“Freedom is not free”—now echoes as indictment, not tribute. This week’s ICE killing under Trump’s corrupt directives exposes the cost of unchecked power and failed leadership. The image demands remembrance, accountability, and a reckoning with the violence inflicted on our own people in the name of security.
