Royal Pattern Tapestries
Description: A pattern arranged with graphic illustrations of a George VI style Post Box in Pillar-Box-Red. The iconic design is a much-loved piece of UK street-furniture, a pre-internet receptacle for the collection of letters to be delivered by the Royal Mail postal service. The British author, Charles Dickens, reminded his readers never to put a letter you intended to post in your pocket on your way out, as you may find it still there on your return.
