Description: Joan Miró was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and ceramicist known for his Surrealist works. He was born in Barcelona in 1893 and began his career as a commercial artist before moving to Paris in 1920. There, he was influenced by the Surrealist movement and developed his own unique style, characterized by biomorphic shapes, bright colors, and abstract forms. Miró's works are considered some of the most important in the Surrealist movement and he is considered one of the most important artists of the 20th century.
