Description: Boudica came from a family of Icenan aristocrats. It tells of Dion Cassius who "possessed a greater intelligence than women generally have", which was tall, with a harsh voice and a fierce gaze, red hair to the hips, a tunic of many colors and a thick cloak adjusted with a brooch. He always wore a thick gold necklace, possibly a torque, an addition that among the Celtic peoples always meant nobility. But 9JD emphasizes that his mere presence was capable of being the scourge of the soft, the shrunken, the fainthearted and the vanquished .
