Technical Tapestries
Description: 17th Street by Hammers of Misfortune captures a nocturnal urban vision—figures silhouetted against a glowing cityscape, standing between isolation and connection. The imagery suggests tension, introspection, and the pulse of city life at night, echoing layered compositions and shifting moods found in progressive and heavy metal soundscapes.
Description: This design displays six figures illustrating different views of airplanes, presented as technical blueprints on a black background. Each figure, labeled FIG. 1 through FIG. 6, showcases detailed line drawings of aircraft with numbered components, resembling patent schematics. The style is stark and technical.
Description: Dead Revolution by Hammers of Misfortune presents a dystopian fusion of flesh and machinery—distorted faces, exposed mechanisms, and a collapsing industrial skyline. The artwork reflects themes of decay, transformation, and technological domination, mirroring complex, aggressive compositions and shifting atmospheres within progressive and heavy metal realms.
Description: A humorous statement about software development presented in a diagonal, distressed text style. The text reads: "99 bugs in the code 99 bugs in the code Take one down and patch it up 117 bugs in the code." The text is off-white with a speckled texture against a black background.
Description: A humorous graphic for HVAC technicians. The central text reads "HVAC & TECHNICIAN CUSTOMER IGNES IGNOROIE". Above are smaller icons and text: "ATTIC SURVIVAL ESPERT", "DUCT TAPE MAGICIAN", "THERMOSTAT WHISPERER" with a 78° display, and a skull in a coffee cup with "DANGEROUS CAFEINE LEVEL". Below, "BASIC PRINCIPLES: DUCT TAPE FIXU'S EVERYTHING, ALWAYS BLAME FIXUS EVERYTHING, ALWAYS BLAME LAST GUY, STATIC PRESSURE IS TOO HIGH, STATIC PRESSURE IS TOO LOW, MERVS IS GOOD ENOUGH". To the right: "TECHNICAL ISSUS", "95% TIRED", and various icons including a fan and a QR code.
Description: A detailed depiction of a jet engine in cross-section, surrounded by complex mathematical equations and formulas. The bottom of the composition features bold white text that reads "TRUST ME, I'M AN ENGINEER". The style is monochromatic with stark white lines against a black background, emphasizing the technical nature of the subject.
Description: A technical diagram with white lines and text on a black background. It depicts a complex chemical process with reactors, distillation columns, heat exchangers, and various labels such as 'Raw materials', 'Reactors', 'End product', and 'Don't You Understand'. The text 'WHAT PART OF' is prominently displayed at the top.
Description: A highly confident, sharp, and brilliantly relatable statement that captures the intense preparation and technical grind required to enter the profession. It is an exceptional piece for dedicated mechanical engineering students, apprentices, and upcoming graduates who are currently navigating the demanding gauntlet of complex mathematics, fluid dynamics, and machine design before officially launching their careers in the industry.
Description: Kielbasa wiejska drawn the way an engineer would draw it. The podkowa: one casing bent into a ring, twisted at the bottom into two links, both ends tied into a loop so the whole thing can hang in the smoke. Section A-A cuts the casing to show the coarse grind. Detail B shows the twist on its own, because the twist is the part people never look at and it is the part doing the work. Six notes on the sheet, including this one: kielbasa is already the word for sausage. "Kielbasa sausage" says it twice. Plate 06 in a series of technical drawings of Polish things. This one prints in the color for light garments. The version for dark garments is here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/98918998-anatomy-of-a-kielbasa
