Yomiuri Giants Tapestries
Description: Considered the New York Yankees of Japan, the Tokyo Kyojin of the Nippon Professional Baseball won 8 championships before changing their name to the Yomiuri Giants in 1947. That their Brown and Orange colors match the New York / San Francisco Giants' colors is not a coincidence.
Description: A circular emblem with an orange border and a cream background. The emblem features a silhouette of a baseball player swinging a bat, with a signature above the word "GIANTS". "YOMIURI" is arched above the player, and "Est. 1934" is to the right. "TOKYO JAPAN" is arched below the player. The style is retro with a speckled texture.
Description: The Yomiuri Giants are a Japanese professional baseball team competing in Nippon Professional Baseball's Central League. Based in Bunkyo, Tokyo, they are one of two professional baseball teams based in Tokyo, the other being the Tokyo Yakult Swallows. They have played their home games in the Tokyo Dome since its opening in 1988. The team's owner is Yomiuri Shimbun Holdings, Japan's largest media conglomerate which also owns two newspapers (including the eponymous Yomiuri Shimbun) and the Nippon Television Network (which includes flagship Nippon TV).
Description: A black background features the text "YOMIURI" in orange above a circular orange graphic. Within the circle is a baseball and a snow-capped mountain. Below the circle is a banner with alternating white flags and orange circles. The text "GIANTS" appears in orange at the bottom.
Description: A circular emblem featuring a baseball player in mid-swing, wearing a white uniform with orange accents and a black helmet. The text 'YOMIURI GIANTS' arcs above the player, and 'TOKYO JAPAN Est. 1934' arcs below. The colors are primarily orange, black, and white with gray shading.
