Description: Founded in 1897, Liverpool Screw Towing & Lighterage Co. operated a fleet of cock tugs - no laughing, please - which are smaller tugboats used in ports where larger tugs would be tough to maneuver like the port of Liverpool. These were called cocks, or cockboats, and the people in charge of them were called coxswains, which is now a term used in rowing. Screw towing is moving ships with tugs and lighterage is when you transfer cargo from a larger ship to a smaller one. Liverpool's entire fleet included 'cock' in each ship's name like 'Crested Cock,' 'Black... ok, now feel free to laugh ;)

Description: Founded in 1935, Harbor Tug & Barge Company was one of San Francisco Bay's first dedicated tugboat operators. In business for over half a century, at its peak, Harbor Tug maintained a fleet of 15 high-powered tugboats, and over 70 barges. Aside from guiding freighters in and out of the bay, Harbor Tug's barges were used for everything from waterfront construction and demolition projects, to the haulage of bulk materials and garbage.

Description: Galaxie 500 was an American alternative rock band that formed in 1987 and split up in 1991 after releasing three albums. Guitarist Dean Wareham, drummer Damon Krukowski and bassist Naomi Yang had met at the Dalton School in New York City in 1981, but began playing together during their time as students at Harvard University. Wareham and Krukowski had formed a series of punk-influenced student bands, before Wareham returned to New York. When he returned in 1987 he and Krukowski formed a new band, with Yang joining the group on bass guitar, the new group deciding on the name Galaxie 500, after a friend's car, a Ford Galaxie 500.
