Description: The USS Discovery (NCC-1031) was a Crossfield-class starship operated by the Federation Starfleet in the 23rd century, initially under the command of Captain Gabriel Lorca and, later, Christopher Pike. (DIS: "Context Is for Kings", "What's Past Is Prologue", "Brother") After time traveling to the 32nd century, Discovery underwent a three week retrofit and was recommissioned with the registry NCC-1031-A under the command of Captain Saru. (DIS: "Far From Home", "People of Earth", "Scavengers"). Over time, owing to her fusion with the Sphere data, she became a fully fledged artificial intelligence. She experienced emotions, worked with the crew, and chose her own name, Zora.
Description: The USS Shangri-La (NCC-2575) was a 23rd century Federation starship, the Shangri-La-class prototype in Starfleet service around the 2280s or 2290s decade. At some point in the late 23rd century, the Shangri-La and its sister ship Surprise performed a mission near a ringed planet within a star system. The location was the site of a large, industrial space station and its support craft.
Description: The USS Vengeance was a 23rd century Federation Dreadnought-class starship operated in secret by Starfleet via Section 31. Unlike other ships owned by the Federation and operated by Starfleet, it was created specifically for combat and was completely unmarked, with no registry number or nomenclature visible on the hull. The ship was commissioned in 2259 and it was launched from the Io Facility starbase, a spacedock in orbit of the Jovian moon Io. Its first, and only, commanding officer was Admiral Alexander Marcus. As of 2263, it was by far the largest ship operated by Starfleet.
