Ball Python Tapestry

One of the more popular species to keep as pets, ball pythons, or Python regius, lives in regions of africa. They typically live in termite mounds and eat rodents. While typically seen as cursorial animals, they have some arboreal tendencies and, very rarely can be seen climbing trees. They have been deemed the pet "rock", but P. regius, like any other species benefits greatly from enrichment.
