Anarchy Pillow

A little watercolour style doodle I painted a few weeks ago... The word anarchy comes from the ancient Greek ἀναρχία (anarchia), which combines ἀ (a), "not, without" and ἀρχή (arkhi), "ruler, leader, authority." Anarchy, in its truest form, has nothing to do with violence and chaos and everything to do with self-governance; nothing to do with wilfully destructive behaviour and everything to do with a profound sense of personal responsibility and with nurturing the capacity for such. Anarchy is NOT 'every man for himself' - it is, "We are all in this together - let's behave accordingly." I think anyone who doesn't resonate with that notion is suffering from a right old case of Stockholm Syndrome. Me, I’m a free spirit. Screw...
