Description: The Westcoast "gives you wings!" The W hand gesture was initiated by the early 1990s west coast rap artists. Though some may have adapted it for gang affiliation, this gesture was syndicated and diversified through hip-hop generations and adapted by millions who originally are from the westcoast of the U.S. (mainly California). Description: I'm fascinated with Alien abduction stories and the whole sub-culture which has grown up around it. So this is my Homage to the Alien Nation. So seriously everyone knows that all the governments in the world are merely puppets to the Alien Overlords. Everyone also knows that if you show a little respect to our benevolent Alien Overlords, good things will come to you. So be good to yourself.
Description: After graduating from college in Massachusetts, John H. Wilkins Jr. returned home to work with his father, John J. Wilkins Sr., in his wholesale coffee and grocery firm in Washington D.C. Shortly thereafter in 1923, a fire destroyed most of the firm's warehouses and it was at this point that John Jr. persuaded his father to terminate his grocery business and focus on making their own coffee. Wilkins Coffee was born and would soon become an institution that would dominate the greater Washington metropolitan area for decades. The company would eventually give way to national brands some time in the '90s and is now largely remembered for their early TV commercials featuring a young puppeteer named Jim Henson.
Description: East Bay Grease is the debut album by Oakland, California soul and funk group Tower of Power, released in 1970. The record shows the band at an early stage of development, and contains a more ragged, horn-heavy R&B style than subsequent releases. The band tightened up and polished their technique heading into their second record, Bump City, but the notable improvements were in place in time for 1973's self-titled Tower of Power, the group's most successful album.
