Description: This is the Nagato Omodaka (長門沢瀉) mon, meaning “Nagato Arrowhead”, it is the mon that used by Nagato Mori clan. Mon (紋), also known as monsho (紋章) or kamon (家紋), are Japanese emblems used to decorate and identify an individual, a family, or an institution or business entity (e.g. Mitstubisi logo). Japanese Mon are similar to the badges and coats of arms in European heraldic tradition, which likewise are used to identify individuals and families. Mon are often referred to as crests in Western literature.
Description: Charles (CM) Russell, the “cowboy artist”, created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Indians, and landscapes set in the Western United States. He lived and worked among the cowboys and the Blood Indian tribe in his younger years.
