Description: In a building that was constructed in 1914, The Filmores Hotel at No 212 Dundas St E in Toronto Canada has been serving, as the sign says 'cold drinks and hot shows' since 1985. The building was designated a Heritage Property by The City of Toronto in 2016. Original photography from 2019 using a Canon EOS 60D body with a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens. Reprocessed using Silver EFEX Pro as a Lightroom plugin for the Black and White conversion. Description: Opened in 1894 and restored with new fire escapes after the Great Fire of 1904, the 2,765 seat Massey Hall at No 178 Victoria St in Toronto Ontario has played host to concerts, lectures, weddings, movies, boxing matches, beauty contests, religious and political rallies, typing contests and chess tournaments. The building was designated an Ontario Heritage Property in 1973 and a National Historic Site of Canada in 1981. On a personal note... Description: Constructed as a movie theatre in 1919, The Danforth Music Hall is a music venue and event theatre at 147 Danforth Ave in Toronto Canada. After many name and owner changes over the years, the building was designated a City Of Toronto Heritage Property in 1985. On a personal note, one of the best shows I ever saw (even after all this time) was The Clash in 1979 when the building was called The Rex Danforth Theatre.
