Description: My Balloon tells the story of a child holding tightly to a string, with a large fish-shaped balloon floating above as if swimming in the sky, turning a simple moment into something magical. The child stands in innocence and wonder, keeping the balloon close while letting it soar freely, a symbol of dreams that are both free and protected. Rendered in bright blue and soft cream, the colors bring harmony and contrast, blue symbolizing freedom and imagination, cream symbolizing warmth and purity together creating a cheerful, light, and hopeful atmosphere that reflects the beauty of childhood where even a balloon becomes a world of endless imagination.
Description: I'm Mike, a queer artist in Portland, Oregon. The artwork on this shirt was designed by graphic designer Nick Fauble and is based on my popular balloon art, and by buying it, you'll be supporting queer artists make more art. Also if I see you wearing it in public I will come up to you and embarrass myself (I promise I will not do this).
