Nevertheless, they are the best on the African plains, and they have just as an important role as any of the other African animals. Indeed, they have been named uglies because of what they really consume. Most of the members within this group are scavengers, except for the wildebeest and the famous Pumbaa, ‘warthog’. The ugly five include the wildebeest, marabou stork, warthog, vultures, and the spotted hyena.
