Description: In 1906, Grover 'Cleve' Harrell started what was to become the Yellow Cab Company with horse-drawn carriages in Oklahoma City. Harrell's older brother, A. J. arrived, soon followed by their younger brother Marvin, and the three went into business together. In 1929, the Harrell brothers established Yellow Transit Freight Lines to serve small manufacturers for whom express rates were prohibitive. Eventually the partnership dissolved, and A. J. took control of the freight lines, which he kept small until 1952 when an ownership group bought the freight company. During this time, Yellow pioneered the concept of consolidating small shipments into trailer loads. In 1968, the company name was changed to Yellow Freight System.

Description: Under a full moon breaking through storm clouds and sheets of rain, a weathered cargo ship cuts through churning black water, its deck lights the only warmth in an otherwise monochrome scene. The heavy grain and stark contrast give the whole piece a vintage, almost ghost-ship quality - something glimpsed once in a storm and never seen again. "Lost Beyond The Horizon" anchors the top in clean serif type, while "Found Within The Chaos" and a set of precise coordinates sit at the bottom, hinting at a story the viewer is left to fill in themselves. With its moody atmosphere and maritime mystery, this design speaks to fans of dark nautical art, storm photography aesthetics, and adventure-at-sea storytelling.

Description: Trans World Airlines (TWA) was a major American airline that operated from 1930 until 2001. It was formed as Transcontinental & Western Air to operate a route from New York City to Los Angeles via St. Louis, Kansas City, and other stops. It was one of the "Big Four" domestic airlines in the United States formed by the Spoils Conference of 1930. Howard Hughes acquired control of TWA in 1939, and after World War II led the expansion of the airline to serve Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, making TWA a second unofficial flag carrier of the United States after Pan Am. By the '60s, TWA began aggressively pursuing the profitable air cargo segment, though one of the airline's biggest missteps was ignoring the emerging dedicated air cargo market.
