We find that Bandit is now a washed-up has-been living in the past, until Big Enos and Little Enos make him another offer: Transport a live Elephant across country in 3 days or less. Despite receiving almost completely negative reviews from critics who felt that it suffered badly in comparison to the original, Smokey and the Bandit II grossed $10,883,835 in its opening weekend, the second highest ever at the time, and also set a record for an opening week.
