Description: If you're a real OG, then you're well versed with Doge, (pronounced /ˈdoʊdʒ/ DOHJ), is a slang term for dog that is primarily associated with pictures of Shiba Inus (nicknamed "Shibe") and internal monologue captions on the internet. These photos may be edited to change the dog's face or captioned with interior monologues in Comic Sans. Beginning in 2017, the Ironic Doge format gained prevalence over the original wholesome version, creating a whole new subgenre of Doge memes that feature Doge in strange or surreal circumstances.
