This vintage design is loosely inspired by Samuel Leigh's "Urania’s Mirror", a boxed set of 32 constellation cards first published in November 1824. Vintage illustration astronomy and antique celestial star chart featuring the constellation Cassiopeia. Cassiopeia is a constellation in the northern sky. In Greek mythology it was considered to represent the vain queen Cassiopeia, who boasted about her unrivaled beauty. It was one of the 48 constellations listed by the 2nd century Greek astronomer Ptolemy, and it remains one of the 88 modern constellations today. Cassiopeia is easily recognizable due to its distinctive "W" shape formed by five bright stars.

Bootes means, herdsman, plowman or ox driver. Canes Venatici means 'hunting dogs' and they belong to Boötes. Coma Berenices means 'Berenice's Hair' and refers to Queen Berenice II of Egypt, who sacrificed her long hair as a votive offering. Quadrans Muralis is a navigational tool used to calculate various readings, such as longitude, latitude, and time of day.
