Description: Tank were one of the promising NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) bands to find their place on the filthier end of the spectrum. Comparisons to Motörhead are obvious as far as the band's blues driven, roadhouse swagger, though their slightly higher pitched vocals set them apart. Filth Hounds of Hades was their debut album and without question, their absolute best effort. The band grew a little more commercial with later releases, something that sadly didn't end up working in their favor.
