Double Pillows
Description: In heraldry and vexillology, the double-headed eagle (or double-eagle) is a charge associated with the concept of Empire. Most modern uses of the symbol are directly or indirectly associated with its use by the Roman/Byzantine Empire, whose use of it represented the Empire's dominion over the Near East and the West. Used in the Eastern Roman Empire as a dynastic emblem of the Palaiologoi, it was adopted during the Late Medieval to Early Modern period in the Holy Roman Empire on the one hand, and in Orthodox principalities (Serbia and Russia) on the other, representing an augmentation of the (single-headed) eagle associated with the Roman Empire.(Source:Wikipedia)
Description: This symbol comes from the Pict people, a group of people who inhabited areas of what is now Scotland. They are known for their stone carvings, although the meaning behind most of their symbols has now been lost. This symbol is commonly called the "double disk and z-rod" and I have recreated it in my own style.
Description: A unique gift with a macabre theme ideal for halloween. The first reaction that "it's a skull" is natural. The actual image, of course, being of an attractive woman at her make-up table. It's a striking illusion and we'll let you render your own meaning from it. Perfect for those who want to share a symbolic message of the skull is as a representation of death and mortality or those who have a gothic theme in their lives and home.
