Description: Doctor Stephen Strange is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by artist Steve Ditko and writer Stan Lee, the character first appeared in Strange Tales #110 (cover-dated July 1963). Doctor Strange serves as the Sorcerer Supreme, the primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats. Inspired by stories of black magic and Chandu the Magician, Strange was created during the Silver Age of Comic Books to bring a different kind of character and themes of mysticism to Marvel Comics.
Description: Fantastic Four #247 – “This Land is Mine!” (1982) Description: This classic Marvel comic book cover features Doctor Doom towering menacingly over a European village as the Fantastic Four—Human Torch, Mr. Fantastic, The Thing, and Invisible Woman—engage in battle to protect the land. The dramatic illustration emphasizes Doom’s power with bold colors and dynamic action, a hallmark of 1980s comic art. Issue #247, released in October 1982, is a must-have for fans of vintage Marvel Comics and Doctor Doom collectors.
