Fiber Pillows
Description: A little yarn, a little magic, and a whole lot of stitchcraft. This cozy Stitch Witch works her crochet magic alongside her black cat in a colorful textile cottage filled with yarn, lanterns, flowers and handcrafted details. Beyond the window, a stitched patchwork sky completes this whimsical meeting of fiber arts, witchcraft and cozy fantasy.
Description: A gauge swatch drawn like an engineer's part: thirty-four stitches by forty-eight rows of stockinette, a garter border four stitches wide, and a measuring window - twenty by twenty-eight stitches, four inches square, close enough to count. The notes carry what everyone skips: wash and block before measuring, count the middle, not the border, needle size is a suggestion but gauge is the requirement. Off half a stitch per inch over two hundred stitches, and the sweater runs four inches wider than planned. Plate 10 in a series of technical drawings of craft things. This one prints in the color for light garments. The version for dark garments is here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/99017808-anatomy-of-a-gauge-swatch
Description: A yarn stash counted the way a warehouse counts one. Forty-seven skeins on the shelf, twenty-three in this year, nine out, balance plus fourteen - which is exactly why the last line says there is no space left. The verdict at the bottom is the one every knitter and crocheter has ready before anyone asks: not a hoard, an archive. Every skein is already promised to something. Pairs with Plate 10, the gauge swatch, from the same series of craft things drawn like technical documents. This one prints in the color for light garments. The version for dark garments is here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/99242484-yarn-stash-no-47

Description: A 4.00 mm circular needle drawn as it lies out of the packet: an oval whose two upper arcs are the rigid tips and whose whole lower run is the cable. The oval on the sheet measures 800 mm around, so the drawing is the needle at size, not a picture of one. Points, shaft, join, and cable are called out, with the size table sitting inside the loop where the empty space was. The note that matters at the till: the join is where cheap needles catch the yarn, and the number on the label is the shaft diameter - the part that actually sets the stitch. Plate 09 in a series of technical drawings of craft things. Prints in the color for light garments. Dark-garment version: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/98927728-anatomy-of-a-knitting-needle
