Hawkwind Pillows
Description: Somewhere between a forgotten space opera and a late-night transmission from another galaxy, the cosmic hawk takes flight. This vintage-inspired space rock design channels the strange energy of Britain's underground psychedelic era, with celestial geometry, ancient-looking starship insignias, weathered colors, and the worn character of a screen-printed relic from 1974. Made for fans of Hawkwind, classic space rock, retro science fiction, and the cosmic underground.

Description: Silver Machine is a 1972 song by the UK rock group Hawkwind that was originally released as a single in June 1972, reaching number three on the UK singles charts. The single was re-issued in 1976, reaching number 34 on the UK singles charts again in 1978, and once again in 1983, reaching number 67. The original mix has been re-released on the remasters version of In Search of Space. The song's lyrics are a send-up of space travel, inspired by the Alfred Jarry essay How to Construct a Time Machine, which was interpreted as a description of how to build a bicycle.
