Hotline Pillows
Description: A GitS inspired piece influenced by modern synthwave and 80s nostalgia art and music. I just wanted to cast the Major in my favorite pink and teal palette and make her real badass like a cyborg Sonny Crockett. Originally there was to be more Miami Vice aspects, but as usual I ended up playing it pretty straight. I'm no good at mashups.
Description: A grumpy goblin customer service worker runs the “Fantasy Customer Complaint Hotline,” exhausted from endless adventurer problems, dragon-flute hold music, and impossible refund requests. The vintage fantasy-themed design mixes RPG humor with retro hotline aesthetics, turning magical quest support into a hilariously relatable office nightmare.
Description: A cozy retro-style gaming support hotline design featuring a cheerful cat operator in a headset, encouraging players through every chaotic boss battle with coffee, strategy, and positivity. The vintage distressed typography, warm orange-and-cream palette, and humorous raid-inspired slogans make it feel like authentic merch from a wholesome gamer guild.
Description: A bold retro teletext design packed with neon pixel typography, glitchy scanline effects, and a playful 1980s hotline theme. The artwork captures analog tech nostalgia, early chat culture, CRT screen energy, and vaporwave-inspired colors with a humorous “loading times” and “glitch free” message.
