Juggling Pillows

Description: 1979's *The Jerk* is a comedy classic that follows the hopelessly naïve Navin Johnson as he leaves home to find his "special purpose." After stumbling into unexpected wealth through a simple invention, he soon finds himself surrounded by people eager to separate him from his money. One of the film's funniest moments comes when Father Carlos Las Vegas De Cordova visits Navin seeking help to combat a terrible evil spreading through his country. A film is shown that initially resembles a cockfighting ring in a Mexican cantina, only to reveal something far more shocking: cat juggling. Horrified, Navin immediately donates money to stop the practice. Thankfully, no actual cats were juggled, but the absurd scene a memorable one.
