Description: Monster drag racing art emerged from the Kustom Kulture movement of the 1960s, fueled by Southern California's booming hot rod scene and a healthy dose of rebellious humor. Featuring wild-eyed, drooling monsters behind the wheels of impossibly exaggerated dragsters, the artwork became an iconic expression of automotive counterculture. These outrageous characters celebrated speed, creativity, and a refusal to fit in, making them instant favorites among young gearheads. Parents often saw them as strange, crude, or downright bizarre—which only added to their appeal. Decades later, monster drag art remains a beloved symbol of hot rod culture's playful, anti-establishment spirit. Stay weird!
Description: Established in 1953, Car Craft was a magazine devoted to automobiles, hot rodding, and drag racing. The earliest motto of Car Craft was 'Loud, Fast, Real,' which emphasized its more budget-oriented approach to building performance cars. When compared to similar magazines, Car Craft regularly featured vehicles built on a real-world budget, with an emphasis on functionality over style. The magazine published articles directed at inexperienced and seasoned wrench turners alike, and was a popular read for anyone wanting to improve the performance of their muscle car, hot rod, or drag racer. After 67 years of monthly issues, Car Craft ceased publishing in 2020, ending an amazing run of one of the best car magazines of all time.

Description: Red Devil Racing Fuels were formulated in Los Angeles, exclusively with gasoline product out of the El Segundo Refinery from genuine California crude. With advertising that played on variations of 'hotter than hell,' their smoking devil was a common sight around the west coast drag strips, both on fuel drums and decals on drag racers. While others made various octanes, Red Devil only made their 110 high test which was known to be a good 5 octane higher than stated, something that would come back to bite them a few years down the road.
Description: Standard Automotive Manufacturing Company was founded in 1952 in Los Angeles, California by Aaron Fenton. He jumped in with both feet as the hot rod craze took off, making everything from headers, cams, and air cleaners, to heads, intakes, shifters, and wheels, all sold under the brand name of Fenton. While many of their products were clearly knock-offs of other popular aftermarket parts, they did make a few original designs here and there. As a result, Fenton's products were usually noticeably cheaper than the brand name version, especially when it came to custom wheels and by the '70s, wheels were their primary focus. This design comes from their refreshed '70s branding and wheel focused brand, with an iconic 5 slot mag front and center.
