Lizards Pillows
Description: The central bearded dragon (Pogona vitticeps), also known as the inland bearded dragon, is a species of agamid lizard found in a wide range of arid to semiarid regions of eastern and central Australia. Adults of this species can reach a total length of up to 60 cm (24 in), with the tail accounting for more than half. Some sexual dimorphism is present: males can be distinguished from females by a wider cloacal opening, a wider base of the tail, a larger head and beard, and the possession of hemipenes.

Description: I am the gila monster whisperer and I have the videos to prove it: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD44DCE95D1B219A0 These misnamed gentle lizards will not attack or bite unless provoked. When they do, their bite is venomous, painful, and prolonged. They do not inject venom like a snake. They chew it into their prey. Anyway, most people survive unless they have an allergic reaction. The Gila Monster (Heloderma suspectum) is also protected by law. In the Arizona Sonoran Desert where we live, it is illegal to harass, capture, or harm them. These lizards have facilitated breakthroughs in the the treatment of diabetes, however. Anyone with this animal as their totem has a secret gift for healing, longevity, and resilience.
