Description: The concept of the door gunner originated during the Vietnam War, when helicopters were first used in combat in large numbers. The original personnel who served as early door gunners aboard CH-21, UH-34, and UH-1 helicopters in Vietnam, were enlisted men, with a designated and specially trained crew chief serving as both the aircraft's maintenance manager and a door gunner. Normally, a second enlisted soldier served as a second door gunner (such as on a UH-1, and UH-34, which both used two gunners – one on each side of the aircraft). Later, as the war progressed, the door gunner position sometimes used a non-aviation rated/trained soldier or marine, that volunteered for door gunner duties.

Description: The MGB is a two-door sports car that was manufactured and marketed from 1962 until 1980 by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), later the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland, as a four-cylinder, soft-top sports car. It was announced and its details first published in September of 1962. Variants included the MGB GT three-door 2+2 coupé, the six-cylinder sports car, and coupé MGC, and the eight-cylinder 2+2 coupé, the MGB GT V8. During the early '70s, BMC ran an ad campaign playing up the car's sporty, fun persona by way of the 'your mother wouldn't like it' tagline. The ads resonated with consumers, especially young women, who definitely didn't want something that their mother might actually approve of.
Description: Opening their doors in 1964, Harlem’s M&G Diner was one of the last authentic soul food restaurants in New York City. The soul food cuisine was totally genuine and not reconstructed as modern times seem to do. The fried chicken was some of the best in town, and the short rib sandwich nothing short of a braised meat experience. They had an old jukebox that had an amazing selection of gospel, soul, blues and jazz records, and the restaurant itself hadn't changed in the nearly 45 years they were open. Sadly, in 2008 the owners closed down for a short hiatus, but mysteriously never returned. Today, the spectacular '60s era facade is long gone and sadly, boring retail store occupies the space, selling urban style clothing.
