Native Pillows
Description: This bold, striking design offers a cynical and historically pointed twist on the classic "teach a man to fish" proverb, reframing it through the lens of Indigenous history and colonization. Featuring a powerful graphic of a Native American leader and a European colonist figure, the text provides a stark take on the outcomes of early contact: "FEED A MAN CORN... HE'LL KILL YOU & STEAL YOUR LAND." It's a challenging and thought-provoking statement on betrayal, land rights, and the true cost of early American history. Perfect for those interested in unvarnished history and impactful political commentary.
Description: Show your pride and solidarity with this design, a statement echoing the historical realities faced by Native American communities. It reflects a deep understanding of Indigenous history and the ongoing struggle for recognition and rights. This powerful piece is for those who stand in support of Native American heritage and the fight for justice, a conversation starter and a way to honor the strength and resilience of Indigenous peoples. The design speaks to anyone interested in Indigenous culture, historical accuracy, and social justice.
Description: Sitting Bear was a leader of the Indian in the Sioux tribe, who takes his name from the fact that he always sat when speaking to other people. This portrait shows him as a serious person, sitting with a calm expression. This painting is a gift to Sitting Bear, a great chief of the Lakota Nation and his people.
