Oni Pillows
Description: Oni (鬼おに) is a kind of yōkai, demon, ogre, or troll in Japanese folklore. They are typically portrayed as hulking figures with one or more horns growing out of their heads. Stereotypically, they are conceived of as red, blue or white-colored, wearing loincloths of tiger pelt, and carrying iron kanabō clubs. This is a symbol of the dark side.
Description: Akuma no Shugo is a crimson shrine guardian twisted into a force of divine fury after mortals shattered the sacred seals he once protected. He stalks the misty groves around the ruined shrine, hunting anyone who defiles holy ground or disturbs wandering spirits. His kanabo glows with sutras that burn the corrupt, and each strike is both punishment and a desperate attempt to restore the balance that was broken. Villagers whisper that when the lanterns flicker and the talismans rustle, the guardian walks again, driven not by cruelty but by the duty he can no longer abandon.
