Description: I spent 6 weeks in various allotments in England studying the fascinating structures that gardeners create out of everyday objects. The most drawn allotment was in Bucklands Hill in Maidstone, Kent.This is the third of a series of three, a possible triptych, but i feel work well as individual prints as well. It shows the Contain aspect of the title, it shows the many different things that i observed at the allotment that the gardeners had been using to substitute the seemingly expensive pots for seedlings. They explained to me that you can use anything that is water and light tight but pierce-able so as to give drainage.
