Description: G.I.S.M. was a Japanese punk metal band formed in Tokyo in 1981. Although the guitar style resembled heavy metal in many aspects, GISM was one of the first Japanese hardcore bands, while at the same time drawing influence from the early industrial/avant-garde music scene—something uncommon in punk bands at that time. The acronym GISM has many different variations including Guerrilla Incendiary Sabotage Mutineer, God In the Schizoid Mind, Grand Imperialism Social Murder, among many, many more, though no official definition has ever been given which only added to the band's mystique. GISM came to be widely known in the global punk scene after the song “Endless Blockades for the Pussyfooter” appeared on an International P.E.A.C.E. compilation.
Description: Road to Ruin is the fourth studio album by American punk rock band the Ramones, released on September 21, 1978, it was the first Ramones album to feature new drummer Marky, who replaced Tommy. The cover artwork originated by a Ramones fan who illustrated the members performing with a lobster claw coming out of an amplifier and a snake around their feet. Following the drawing's completion in '77, the band decided to make it the Road to Ruin cover. This sketch did, however, include original drummer Tommy, so the drawing had to be modified to depict Marky instead, and was further edited to remove the snakes and lobster claw.

Description: Dropkick Murphys play a unique brand of punk music influenced by their Irish-by-way-of-New England upbringing: Celtic Punk. With bagpipes and all, Dropkick Murphys are ferociously fun rockers who sing with their hearts and turn their amps up even louder. Look no further than their signature anthem, “I’m Shipping Up to Boston,” which famously featured in Martin Scorcese’s The Departed 15 years ago. It’s a perfect summation of their glorious and unabashed style of punk, with as much grit as there is heart
