Scopitone Pillows
Description: Joi Lansing sings Web of Love as a guy in a snake costume slither arounds, a witch doctor jumps about (same guy) and several women who clearly are not from equatorial climes do some back up dancing. Very sultry. A retro design; so far as I know there was never a table tent for scopitone S-1057. Scopitones are music films made for a video jukebox in the 1960s. There were over 70 American ones produced and hundreds of European ones, featuring well-known artists of the time.

Description: Great song. Fake ski chalet. Amazed that they didn't find an excuse to have bikinis in this one. Even after Bobby Rydell's best efforts, I'm still not sure what "Bellaza" means... Description: Damita Jo sings Silver Dollar. It used to only be a silver dime but... inflation. Damita Jo makes sure you know that a woman never knows what a sweet man she's got until she turns him down. Then she starts making analogies about what a man without a woman is like. I'm not sure about a few of them but overall I think she makes her point! From an original "table tent" design. Scopitone S-1037. Scopitones are music films made for a video jukebox in the 1960s. Description: Donna Theodore performs Femininity, which starts with some guys undressing her with their eyes... or something. She doesn't understand why she always ends up on that bearskin rug while she's setting a Scopitone record for outfirst worn in a single production. Femininity! Scopitone S-1056. From an original "table tent" design. Scopitone S-1034. Scopitones are music films made for a video jukebox in the 1960s. Description: Frankie Randall sings about a yellow-haired woman who came in on the last train from Memphis. The train design was as confusing as the trio of dancers jumping around town wearing nothing but yellow boots, tight blue pants, arm garters and a dickie... which as you can imagine was really inconvenient for the female member of the troupe. Alas, the local sheriff's brief romance with the yellow-haired woman ends with the sheriff, assisted, by the woman who is still not wearing a proper shirt, pulling the woman off to the pokey by a rope... guilty of being blonde under false pretenses. From an original "table tent" design. Scopitone S-1032.
Description: The Hondells perform Sea Cruise. On a boat. Naturally. In the film they catch a mermaid before they even leave the dock!
